VIP School of Music has been thrilled to create an annual event called MusicFest! Each year we put together a two-hour concert featuring students of all ages and levels of skill. These performers will experience playing with different musicians in a variety of genres and with many professional musicians alongside for support.

This event is a thrill to be a part of for so many reasons. Performers will gain lasting friendships and experience significant musical growth in a short period of time. It is also a time to show friends and family what progress has been made while creating timeless memories that will last a lifetime. How do I become a performer?
Contact Maria at VIP School of Music to reserve your spot in the show! Deadline for enrollment is early summer. All performers must be students at VIP School of Music and enrolled in private music lessons.
When is the show?
MusicFest takes place Wednesday, August 20th, 2025, at the Joan Kroc Theater, 6611 University Ave, San Diego, CA 92115. Talk to us about this year’s MusicFest date!
Is there a cost to be in the show?
Yes! The participation fee is $100 per student. With the sibling discount, you will pay $120 for two students in a family. If there are three or more performers from one family, the fee is reduced to $150 for every three students. All participation fees must be paid prior to the performance. Payment plans are available if needed and scholarships may be available if applicable.
Are rehearsals required?
In order to ensure the quality of this event, we ask that all performers commit to attending all rehearsals for the songs that they are performing. We will release a calendar for rehearsal dates. Details on exact times will be solidified as we gather participant information. There will be one mandatory dress rehearsal, and all performers must attend. There are no exceptions.

Will tickets be sold for this event?
Yes! Tickets will be sold at $25 per person presale and at the door. Contact us to receive your tickets. General seating. No charge for those 5 years and younger.
